This section of the site is dedicated to what I’m working on right now, so here goes!
Of course Mancer 3 just came out, but that means I’ve been done with that book for a while. I’ll admit it ends with a bit of a cliffhanger – the showdown between the divine, infernal and mortal is over, but there are repercussions in Kavet that would take books yet to explore. I am working on other books in this world, but since I’m not looking to immediately release them, I’m also working on some digital “extras” that readers may appreciate after the trilogy is done. Some are trial transcripts, and others from Rinnman’s POV. These will be free and offered through this site.
Meanwhile I’m also working on a pet project: Sororcula, a futuristic science fiction novel that hasn’t yet found a publishing home. Set in what can best be described as post-apocalyptic Club Med in space, it’s part murder mystery, part government conspiracy, and part queer love story. I’m about 2/3 done of a full rewrite for first revision.
And of course I’m working on the new website. My server went belly-up with little warning so I’m taking the excuse to redesign.
What else? I’m creating recipes for my Instant Pot, learning how to use fondant with my 3 year old daughter (almost 4! Can you believe it?), considering auditioning for #NailedIt!, and preparing for the 2018-2019 school year as a full time teacher and now mother of two. Wish me luck!
